best choice for blank fire

Hi i been asked to bring my cannon's to the local mountainmen/civil war show at the local park they asked if i do a few blank fire shots I never fired my cannon othr then a fireing range and the state park for demo's with is open range down range  the park that is used is an old golf course but  ther be people probly down range at the very far end out of range but i realy want teh best or least leathal  item leaving my barrel
i use foil cartraige's and know just wondering if there is a better suggestion like making my blanks out of paper

Foil will be fine.

thanks much i use my standard foil cartiage i taking my howizer cannon anyay as it has a 1" powder chamber
just  was looking for suggsions if there was a betterchoice  jsut want all be safe as can be
