'Six Day War' - Israeli sneak attack
« on: May 20, 2012, 04:46:43 PM »
Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor-type Israeli attack is coming up.  We've been told a pack of lies regarding who was the aggressor.

"....In August 1982, then-Prime Minister Menachem Begin admitted publicly: "In June 1967, we had a choice. The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches (did) not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him." Today’s "threat" from Iran is equally ephemeral. Krauthammer, though, warns ominously about "nuclear weapons in the hands of apocalyptic mullahs publicly pledged to Israel’s annihilation."
The allusion is to an illusion  —  the alleged threat by Iranian President Ahmadinejad to "wipe Israel off the map."  But he never said that, an inconvenient reality reluctantly acknowledged by Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor early last month."

Remember the USS Liberty.  Any Egyptian movemnent was to rid the world of Dimona..to stop zionist nuclear hegemony/balckmail in the ME...With US assistance israel attacked and massacred the Egyptians... I mean massacred Egyptians ... holocausted.  USS Liberty had info on this and was to be destroyed, sunk...Johnson and Admiral McCain prevented naval assistance on the broad daylight attack,,,covered it up.  They should have been arrested and trialed...Then they and banksters escalated Vietnam.
Rio points out fabrications of these criminals...
..TM7

That’s such a muddled mess as a historical description of the 6 Day War that I won’t even start on it.  The Liberty attack will never be proven beyond a doubt either way, but it is a conspiracy theorist fan favorite.

My favorite Liberty attack conspiracy theory is that a US ballistic missile sub watched the attack since it was shadowing the Liberty, waiting to nuke the Israeli nuclear program before they could use it.  It’s rare that the conspiracy theorists paint themselves into a corner, but they did on that one since it would be impossible for an SLBM to nuke Israel from that short of a distance to the target.

The alleged attack upon the USS Liberty (some 45 years ago) is an unproven quantity so it doesn't really come into play.
.. But for sake of argument, suppose we give that one to the conspiracy theorists...  That means the attack on the liberty and the USS Cole about cancel each other in this discussion.
However, there are nearly 19,000 documented acts of terrorism committed by Israel's foes in just the last 10 years.

If we want to talk terrorism, is there not more fertile grounds in the last ten years, that we must dig up a single, unproven incident from 4.5 decades ago ?

IG. I can plainly see from the map that the ishmaelites desperately need ALL that land to survive. Thanks for reminding me. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

Yes; how can they possibly survive if they don't take over that small, red sliver of land... called Israel ?

Just look at that map again.  See that tiny sliver..

those stupid rag-heads are gonna keep on until Israel turns the whole area into a smoking hole in the ground.
we should be trying to preserve Israel for its historic value if nothing else.
if the muzzies weren't so murderous, that entire area could be great for vacations.  I would love to walk where Jesus walked.  there is history in every middle-east country. cruise-lines and air-lines would love a peaceful middle east.

Perhaps if they climbed up out of the 7th century, they could have a successful situation going in Gaza !  They have many miles of white sand beaches which Europeans would flock to if they could vacation in safety .  How much more would be taken in  by restaurants, clothing store and all vacation support businesses we can only guess at.
That cartoon from 1956 is certainly close to the truth, why haven't they learned by now ?
The residents opf Palestine and Gaza could have a fairly decent and prosperous lifestyle..if they would just leave the 7th century behind them..

See below.. an optimist started a resort on Gaza beaches..but nobody comes... can you blame them ?

When Israel stupidly gave territory to the Palestinians, I remember seeing pictures of former Israeli agricultural stations that were destroyed by the Palestians just because they were built by the Israelis.  And I remember Paul Harvey describing the demarcation line:  green agricultural land in the Israeli side and brown desert on the Palestian side.  So the Arabs want the land, and trash it when they get it.

Kind of hard to develop beach front resorts these days when, under the Israeli blockade, you can't even buy concrete to repair your damaged house.
And then how would the European tourists get there anyway? They'd have to fly into Israel, then cross checkpoints while being subjected to abuse by the Israeli soldiers who hate the Palestinians and anyone who would visit them.

"Israel ....  has stopped releasing goods intended for Gaza until further notice, except for basic  foodstuffs (such as flour, sugar, oil, rice and salt) and equipment Israel has  classified as “humanitarian”. Exports from Gaza  have also been blocked, apart from several shipments of agricultural produce  and flowers, which Israel has permitted under international pressure. Since June 2007, no raw materials have entered Gaza, forcing 90  percent of the enterprises to cease operations. The construction sector, too,  is totally paralyzed. 3,500 businesses have closed down and over 75,000  workers, who support half a million dependants, have lost their jobs."

As a Southerner, whose family suffered greatly under a Federal Blockade, I sympathize.

Then also there are those pesky Israeli settlers taking potshots at you.

TM,
Now that is interesting!  I am wondering why Begin would say that.  I am wondering why I have never heard that before.  I am wondering if the author is a reputatible journalist, or a crackpot.  Of course, you have to consider the magazine.

"Lehi  (the Stern Gang)  assassinated Lord Moyne, British Minister Resident in the Middle East, and made many other attacks on the British in Palestine. It was described as a terrorist organization by the British authorities.[6] Lehi assassinated United Nations mediator Folke Bernadotte and was banned by the Israeli government.[7] The United Nations Security Council called the assassins "a criminal group of terrorists,"[8] and Lehi was similarly condemned by Bernadotte's replacement as mediator, Ralph Bunche.[9] Lehi and Irgun were jointly responsible for the massacre in Deir Yassin.
Israel granted a general amnesty to Lehi members on 14 February 1949. In 1980, Israel instituted a military decoration, the Lehi ribbon.[10] Former Lehi leader Yitzhak Shamir became Prime Minister of Israel in 1983."

"An article titled "Terror" in the Lehi underground newspaper He Khazit (The Front ) argued as follows:
Neither Jewish ethics nor Jewish tradition can disqualify terrorism as a means of combat. We are very far from having any moral qualms as far as our national war goes. We have before us the command of the Torah, whose morality surpasses that of any other body of laws in the world: "Ye shall blot them out to the last man." But first and foremost, terrorism is for us a part of the political battle being conducted under the present circumstances, and it has a great part to play: speaking in a clear voice to the whole world..."

The Zionist State was born of terror,  uses terror still, and threatens anyone who opposes it in any way.

What more proof do you need?

Gosh, for three peaceful Islamic countries who were just standing around not massing for an attack, they sure did get about 1,000 tanks across Israel's border in just a matter of hours.

You can't openly state to the world on a repeated basis that you are going to murder someone or a country, and then point a cocked gun at them, and then whine that you were  "attacked" when they hit first.

Actually, Lebanon might be considered a Christian country, the other countries in the immediate region have or had large Christian populations. In fact, Palestine was about 1/3 Christian  and these Christians are prime targets for explusion by the zio marxists.  Many of these people were descendants of Christ's extended family which curiously judaeo-christians are assisting the zio-marxist to erradicate...owing to some occult eschatology.  Meanwhile, the zio-marxist colonist have made their objectives and methods clearly known to those who can pay attention:
.

.. "Our race is the Master Race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves." - Israeli prime Minister Menachem Begin in a speech to the Knesset [Israeli Parliament] quoted by Amnon Kapeliouk, "Begin and the Beasts," New Statesman, June 25, 1982
Were these Begin's heartfelt words, or are they words in his speech where he was quoting German speakers of the nazi regime ?  Are they taken out of context ?..
.
"Tell me, do the evil men of this world have a bad time? They hunt and catch whatever they feel like eating. They don't suffer from indigestion and are not punished by Heaven. I want Israel to join that club. Maybe the world will then at last begin to fear us instead of feeling sorry. Maybe they will start to tremble, to fear our madness instead of admiring our nobility. Let them tremble; let them call us a mad state. Let them understand that we are a savage country, dangerous to our surroundings, not normal, that we might go wild, that we might start World War Three just like that, or that we might one day go crazy and burn all the oil fields in the Middle East. Even if you'll prove to me that the present war is a dirty immoral war, I don't care. We shall start another war, kill and destroy more and more. And do you know why it is all worth it? Because it seems that this war has made us more unpopular among the civilized world. We'll hear no more of that nonsense about the unique Jewish morality. No more talk about a unique people being a light upon the nations. No more uniqueness and no more sweetness and light. Good riddance." --Former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon
Sounds like something one might say who has spent years in a murderous camp...perhaps much hyperbole..to punctuate his determination.  I nevr spent years under a starving death sentence, nor had many of my people murdered, I can't predict how I would react to certain, perhaps anti-semitic questions.

.Dr. Israel Shahak, Chairperson of the Israeli League for Human and Civil Rights, and a survivor of the Bergen Belsen concentration camp, Commenting on the Israeli military's Emergency Regulations following the 1967 War. Palestine, vol. 12, December 1983: "Hitler's legal power was based upon the 'Enabling Act', which was passed quite legally by the Reichstag and which allowed the Fuehrer and his representatives, in plain language, to be what they wanted, or in legal language, to issue regulations having the force of law. Exactly the same type of act was passed by the Knesset [Israeli's Parliament] immediately after the 1067 conquest granting the Israeli governor and his representatives the power of Hitler, which they use in Hitlerian manner."
Pure hate propaganda..proven by the pretense that Jews would want anything to do with Hitler or even imitate anything "Hitlerian"..  just poorly concealed hatred..
.
.
"We enthusiastically chose to become a colonial society, ignoring international treaties, expropriating lands, transferring settlers from Israel to the occupied territories, engaging in theft and finding justification for all these activities. Passionately desiring to keep the occupied territories, we developed two judicial systems: one - progressive, liberal - in Israel; and the other - cruel, injurious - in the occupied territories. In effect, we established an apartheid regime in the occupied territories immediately following their capture. That oppressive regime exists to this day." 3 March 2002, Michael Ben-Yair.
.
.
..TM7
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

If you're presenting that as an outright speech to stand upon it's own...I don't believe it.  There is a small chance it is something taken out of context when Israelis were demonstrating how they would not go peacefully to extermination camps again. I have noted where he may have been taken out of context..

   In any case we judge by actions more than words and Israel's actions say;
"I'll leave you alone if you leave me alone; if you attack me unprovoked..you get it back..double!"   ...sounds good to me !

That "sneak attack" thing is really rich..  You're a 98 pound fellow, that 300 pounder has you backed into a corner..you hit first!  What a rotten guy..you launched a "sneak attack"..you should have given that 300 pounder a free "first shot"  ;D   ;D   ;D   :P

Yeah, sure...that makes sense, especially since the fanatical Muslims always play fair..as we found out in Nairobi Kenya, the Lebanon barracks, the USS Cole, The World Trade Center (twice), the Pentagon, Lockerbie, Scotland, A Bali nightclub, and men here in the US ..murdering their wives & teenaged daughters.., in extreme "dishonor" killings.

TM Says;
" How do you have a democracy when you're a self admitted marxist theocracy with no established borders, no ratified constitution, a two tiered legal and voting system, practice genocide; contunue to confiscate property, homes, water, farms, threaten the world with extinction, and wrote the book on terrorism...?  Those previous quotes were from jews btw...anti-semitic jews I suppose.."

  Any thinking person knows this;
If all the Arab/Muslim states were disarmed..there would be peace in the middle east..  If Israel were disarmed there would be an Israeli bloodbath tomorrow morning..

Any Egyptian movemnent was to rid the world of Dimona..to stop zionist nuclear hegemony/balckmail in the ME...With US assistance israel attacked and massacred the Egyptians... I mean massacred Egyptians ... holocausted.  USS Liberty had info on this and was to be destroyed, sunk...

No, not really...Nasser et al did not want a US WMD supplied isreal...Russians agreed.

And I'd like to see you say: "The Liberty attack will never be proven beyond a doubt either way, but it is a conspiracy theorist fan favorite."
to these guys....    http://www.ussliberty.org/voices.htm
Heck, I'll even come and watch.
........TM7

The Arab campaign of 1967 was to rid the world of the state of Israel, not to rid the state of Israel of its nuclear weapons program.  Do you think the Arabs would have overwhelmed the Israelis and then destroyed Dimona and the Israeli nuclear program and then pulled back to their borders and left Israel intact?

As for the Liberty, your favorite question is “who benefits?”; and that is the primary reason I accept the official explanation of the Israeli attack on the Liberty, because Israel had nothing to benefit from attacking it knowing it was a US Navy ship.  The most commonly expressed conspiracy theory is that the Liberty found out the Israelis were about to attack Syria in the Golan, and that is why they tried to sink her.  That or the “Egyptian massacre” theory both fail to make any sense for the Israelis to commit an act of war on the US by sinking the Liberty as a known US ship.

In the context of 1967 what would the US have done either way, knowing that Israel was about to attack the Golan or that the Israelis were killing Egyptian POWs?  The US would have applied pressure on Israel, but they wouldn’t have done it publically, at that point the Middle East was just a front of the Cold War, the US wouldn’t have thrown Israel under the bus.  Likewise, if the US believed that Egypt sank the Liberty, what would they have done in return?  Egypt would have claimed they didn’t and that if the ship was sunk it was a case of mistaken identity.  The US wasn’t going to bomb Egypt for the sinking of the Liberty and they were already providing support to Israel.

So in the end what would have been a realistic Israeli motive to commit an act of war on the US?  They had everything to lose and nothing to gain.  Also, if they had decided to sink the Liberty and blame the Egyptians why did they stop?  The Liberty was barely afloat and one more bomb or torpedo would surely have sunk her, why stop when they did?

As for the Liberty’s crew, I’d be glad to hear what they have to say over a beer at my VFW hall.  I know from personal experience that having someone try to kill you leaves you pretty emotional, especially when you don’t get the satisfaction of being able to fight back.  I’ve seen allot of weird things in wartime and the one thing everyone fears most of all is fratricide, even today with blur force tracking and much better communications we still have friendly fire incidents.

I think under the circumstances friendly fire is ruled out. "I mean" Here is a big US flagged ship in open water, in broad daylight ::)

  I think it is time to place the "cards on the table' and break toward honesty..  Let's look at Israel when compared to her hostile neighbors;

 1) Israel is a small sliver of a country, compared to the hostiles surrounding her.

 2) Israel only wants to be left alone and in peace.

 3) Israel, like any other nation..has made some mistakes.  Israel has been caught spying upon the US..but so has virtually every nation on the planet...stands to reason..until Obama, we were the only remaining super-power and nations act in their OWN interests.

 4) For some reason, the Israel/Israeli detractors point out 3-4 dubious acts of terror committed by Jews..but somehow ignore  or "give a pass" to the nearly 19,000 acts of terror by Israel's enemies over just the last ten yearshttp://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

 5) Israel is the one place in the mid east where science, agriculture, medicine, engineering and technology flourishes.

 6) There is no record of terrorists, stupicide bombers and assassins leaving israel in great numbers to do terrorist acts around the world.

 7) Speaking of http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/  !  While the hate Israel, hate Jews gang can get the same info on world news everyday, concerning evil terrorist attacks..they also condem America for supposed wrongdoings concerning the mid-east, while STILL giving the Muslims a free pass.

 8) While Israel, like many other nations is far from perfect, they surely are not nearly as murderous and destructive of other nations (and their own people) as their mid-east neighbors.

Fact is guys...here's a chance to come clean and tell the truth concerning Israel and the Jews...

Why do you guys hate both Israel and the Jews so much ?

There must be a deep psychological reason, since Israel, in comparison to her neighbors especially, is really a better place & people. Just be honest and come clean, please... .

Who benefits? Could this be a reason? http://www.wrmea.com/backissues/0596/9605028.htm
I think under the circumstances friendly fire is ruled out. "I mean" Here is a big US flagged ship in open water, in broad daylight ::)

Could that be the reason; yes.  Is it a reason that makes any sense; no.

So the supposed reasons the Liberty was purposely attacked by Israel are:

- The Liberty had information on Israeli war crimes along the coast of Egypt

- The Liberty had information that Israel was about to attack on the Golan.

- Some combination of the 2

For both scenarios the issues are the same:

- How would the Israelis know the Liberty had that info unless they were in collusion with the US Navy, and if that was the case why attack the Liberty in the first place?

- If the scenarios were true what is the worst the Israelis would have expected was a private rebuke and pressure by the US to stop their actions.  Given the expected US response why would the Israelis commit an act of war on one of their few allies when they were facing possible extinction at the hands of Arab armies?

- Why call off the attack on the Liberty once it was started?  If they had a reason to sink the Liberty that must have had a reason to stop the attack short of it being sunk.  This is one of the biggest problems the conspiracy theorists don’t address, why did they stop short on the attack?

TM7(s) suggestion that the attack was a false flag attack so that the US would attack Egypt and/or Syria flies completely in the face of the events of that time.  In 1967 the Middle East was a front of the Cold War; the US wouldn’t have risked open conflict with the Soviet unless Egypt had openly and massively declared hostilities against the US.  There is no way the US would have declared hostilities against the Egyptians even if they believed they had sunk the Liberty.

So that brings us back to “who benefits?”  The Israelis had nothing of consequence to gain by sinking the Liberty and everything to lose.  Beyond “who benefits” the most helpful question in analysis is “what makes sense?”  As with most conspiracy theories when you lay the scenario out it doesn’t make sense as a narrative.

"WELL" I guess if one has their mind made up to believe what they want to believe, anything else is irrelevant.

I am not really sure how this war crime came down, but I'm willing to look at different sources to try and make sense of it. Couple of things I have learned in my many years on this planet is....... There are two sides to every story, and things are not always what they appear to be.
