whats the opinion on the fast focus eye piece on the 3200 , I guess thats the only way it comes, in matte, plex. 3-9 , I think i saw a negative comment on it somewhere , and that is why i was trying to find it without that feature. Bruce

Other scopes are going for the fast focus feature on their new models. My Elite came with it and I wasn't real happy about it, but it gave no trouble last hunting season. I worried that it might be turned accidentally and be out of focus at shooting time. It didn't happen, though. The adjustment doesn't turn that easily and is somewhat protected. I still don't see the advantage of it unless more than one person is using the scope. Maybe there is less chance of the scope taking in moisture or losing gas??

I like it. If I am shooting a 25 yard target and then go shoot a 150 yard target with my .22 Mag, the fast focus feature sure makes it easier and faster to adjust.

I think that the Buhnell elite model #32-3940G still has the older style lock ring focus. This is what I prefer because once this adjustment is made it should not have to be changed. If you can find model number 32-3940M which is now discontinued it also has the older syle focus ring.
