Restore
« on: May 21, 2012, 03:36:59 PM »
Hey fellas, this is my first post.

I've built many guns over the years but never restored one. I just inherited a H&R 12 gauge choke single action patent Feb.27.1900 S/N 2698XX. It's missing a front end, has no removable hinge pin and the butt stock is in rough shape. All other parts are accounted for.

I was hoping y'all could help me identify a more specific model, and help me get a parts list and a dealer to do the restore.

Every little bit helps

This really needs to be posted in the Collectables section.  Hopefully, Tim will see it and move it for you.  I've never done work on this style, so will say that I've seen a few posts by those that have.  Welcome and good luck getting it fixed up.  ;)

Try Numrich Gun Parts at www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Models.aspx?catid=229 and check out the shotgun schematics.
