I find people that seem to never have anything positive to say here or express some graciousness for all the good they DO have quite disturbing.

But, aren't we all gratefull that we can still openly and publicly express those thoughts.

I am highly alergic to tobacco.  If I breathe in too much smoke, I get an ashma attack.  I don't care if you smoke, but not around me.

I have some liberal inlaws.  College professors.  They freaked out when I told them that our county of 110,000 people had 30,000 concealed carry permits issued each year.  They are very naive.  The liberal SIL thought buying and selling stock was gambling.  Not exactly.  With proper research before buying, a good company will gain in value.  Historically faster than inflation.  Research, buy low, sell high.  They do not know how the capitalist system works.  They have bleeding hearts and want to give money to every poor person that comes along, without finding out if they are frauds, alcoholics, or druggies.

Are there really people who think "more" is spelled "moar", or that "ever" is spelled "evar"?

It is a website, not a web sight.  A site is a location, a website is a location on the web.

i was reminded today about an old pet peeve

people expect you to work around their dog

preasure washing......they ask me to keep the gate closed incase they let the dog out

i told then when i go through the gate  my hands are full
they  need to stay by the gate and OPEN it and CLOSE  it behind me

i was  already working TOOOO  cheap because they were a freind

i have walked off jobs  over a dog  more than once
also  removed  more the one  front door  over finding it closed and my hands full
can't  remember   how many light switches  i have removed and strait wired the light on

I KNOW ITS THEIR HOUSE...but  i am there to FOCUS on my work
i can't focus on my work  in poor lighting and obstructed walk ways
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs

Bureaucratic Dogma
I dont care for the use of Numbers in the news (13K new jobs were created this week)
I find it a empty statement with no substance. Are they real jobs? or minimum wage jobs better suited for highschool kids as part time jobs?

Customer Service telephone banks (US Post Office and Sears Technical Support) Sears to get a Thermostat for a Kenmore Fridge, 5 diffrent people all wanting my phone # and again asking what my make & model were? (I hate Huge Business)

Liar's, Cheats, Swindlers

Parents that yell at their kids

Long winded ad's on TV

Super Sized foods and drinks.

Sport Hunting TV programs.

Political Ad's

Buying anything in Anchorage to fix what you have, they only want to sell you new stuff, the parts guy is always out to lunch (actual & figuratively) useally need to talk to the new guy first, then the shift forman and bumped up to the parts department manager.
I know Im in for it when I call saying I need a part and they say please hold while we connect you.
I lovesmaller businesses the one you call and the first person that answers actually knows where the part is on the shelf because they put it there themselves.

The unemployment rate is never correct no matter what president is in office. Once the benifits run out for a person they are taken off the rolls of the unemployed.

People that ask a question to answer a question.

That reminds me.

People who end every spoken sentence with a rising voice inflection, so that you have to take a split second to replay it in your head to figure out whether it is a statement or a question.

That drives me absolutely bonkers.
