Browning Gold Magazine Spring Retainer Removal
« on: February 01, 2004, 05:41:56 AM »
I'm cleaning a Browing Gold Hunter 3.5" and can't figure out how the spring retainer can be removed using commonly availabe tools.  Anyone have any experience with this?

The 3" just has a little plastic nub on the retainer that sticks through a hole in the magazine tube.  Push it in and the cap comes out, under spring pressure of course.

Thanks Bullseye.  I saw it and didn't want to push it for fear of damaging the plastic but if that is the procedure then that will be what I'll do.
Appreciate your help.
