Happens all the time. A while back in Wichita a Hispanic (Yes, an American citizen) who was an owner of an construction company was stopped and since he was Hispanic (that was in the report) and driving a customized late model pick up and had 15K cash which was for a purchase of some heavy equipment his PU and cash were taken. It took him about two years and a lot of legal fees to get both back. I do not understand for the life of me how this can be allowed. I remember years back 60 Minutes did a deal on this. They interviewed a Chief of Police that had a big reputation for this kind of thing. This cop's deal was to spot test bills for cocaine contamination (this is very common) during traffic stops. if positive all cash and vehicle were taken. The reporter asked the chief for his billfold, took out some of the bills and tested them, I think it was two that came out positive. No, the chief did not turn in his cash or vehicle. What a bunch of BS!!!!!!!!!
