T/C and Knight the Only American Made Muzzleloaders, Support Them!

I guess I'm a little more patriotic than most, but I just don't understand the mentality of today's generation which doesn't consider the source of the goods they buy, yet somehow expect a good job to be waiting on them the minute they graduate high school or college! 
We ALL need to support our American gunmakers.  Can anyone remember back several years when there were 7 or 8, maybe more, American Muzzleloader manufacturers?  Now we're down to 2!
For those of you wondering why I didn't mention Savage it's because I've read and heard that after this years limited run of muzzleloaders Savage is getting out?

You stated that you support American made products, and good for you, many others out there do, but you do not ever go and make any accusations against myself or any other member on here.

I have bought several U.S. made muzzle'loaders and still have two an H&R sidekick and a Knight disk ext.45cal but I have also bought several CVA's and they are hard to beat my last one was the Apex and its top notch and I do think its the best out there.

You certainly don't support something if its not getting the job done for YOU.

I do understand what you mean JB I do try to buy U.S. made products whenever I can but my last two American made muzzle'loaders were Savage 10ml2s and I paid a lot for them and I was not very happy with the results but I would buy another Knight. The way I look at it CVA is a European country where most of are ancestors are from, so I don't have a problem with that but I absolutely refuse to buy any guns or related parts from China, it will never happen.

I wonder what Jim.Beams agenda is...I've seen him on other forums promoting certain products and not others...On these forums he has a low post count as well...
 
I'd love to only buy American...I started in muzzleloading in the 70s with custom made flintlocks...I also own an 11 year old Knight so I'm not promoting imports...Alas the cat is out of the bag, imports are here to stay whether in the gun industry, cars, knives, beach chairs, clothing, sunglasses, computer chips, whatever...Our politicians have made it very hard for American manufactures to compete with low cost laborers...Until that changes, it it what it is...
 
On a side note...If you do a little research you will find out that most American Long Rifles made before the American Revolution had imported barrels and locks and best powder in the 1700s was imported...Labor was cheaper in Europe than it was in the Colonies...So, this isn't new in the muzzleloading industry...

I'm certainly not "paid off" by anyone, but basically, I buy what I can afford and works.  I own a lot of Rugers and H&R's but I also own Traditions ML's.  Just the way it worked out and I love my Buckstalker, Woodsman Hawken and Buckskinner Kentucky pistol.

thats right tackle, h&r's are made in new york by remington. they are an all american ML
dispite what tha unknowin say.............
and from my opinion, the best for tha dollar spent.
