my new holsters
« on: May 23, 2012, 12:56:00 PM »
Here are the new holsters I just made. I think they turned out pretty good. I used a Slim Jim pattern I got free on the internet. Materials I bought: 2 bags of scrap leather at Hobby Lobby $6 each(I  think), two conchos $3 each.
Materials I already had: waxed thread, glue(craft glue swiped from my wife)
Tools used: old hunting knife, awl and mallet, heavy needle.
My .357 Charles Dalys look good in them. I wonder if it will improve my SASS times.

Good looking holsters. I'm surprised you could find large enough pieces in those HL bags to make a holster that size.
