How close do you inspect the camo on your Encore?

This is on my Encore Realtree Hardwoods forend "BJ". Does anyone know why its there and what it may stand for?

might be the tech that did the work. mine had stuff like the name of the camo and pat. etc. as does several other guns. Say had as I traded the camo for wood or I would go look. If its the guy who did the work it may be for tracking if warr. work is ever needed.
