The only ones that I know of that may be close are the 310 GNR and the 300 GNR , both are Gary Reeder rounds , the 310 is a 405 Win case necked down to .308 and the 300 is a shortend 30/30 case .

There may be others out there , I'm still looking .  ;)

There is also the 30-357 Paxton and the 308-32/20

stimpy,

thanks for looking.  I have a working name for this cartridge since I have formed and fired a few of them.  The .308 Chipshot. ;D    If i get all the bugs out of it before September I will bring it to the fall shoot, along with the M1 Carbine barrel I have headed my way from our friend in Washington State. ;) 8)

The 30BR interests me. Uses a 6mmBR case opened up to 30 cal. The entire range of BRs interests me. Just have to suck it up when buying the first cases, but Lapua case life is legendary, and neck sizing only for your custom chamber is all that is needed. FWIW

When I get around to it, I will do a 357/44 B&D on a 357 Handi...of all possibilities, seems like the best value for money, and the easiest to implement, no brass cutting just a 44 Mag FL reform in one stroke, rechamber only.
