Man, I can't express how that pisses me off! This just makes it crystal clear that there is absolutely no hope that our political system as it now stands can ever be made responsive to the will of the people. They have surrendered all decency and accepted murderous corruption at the highest levels as just business as usual. Damn them all to hell, they have sold out our nation, our people, our ideals and standards, they are the lowest of low life, totally without principle or honor but the stupid sheeple will still trudge to the polls and vote for a Republican or a Democrat in the blind belief that one is maybe not quite so bad as the other.

Something some of us have been aware of for some time.I would have been shocked if they had done anything to him.

I think it has more to do with summer vacations and fall campaigning.  Wish they would have just suspended it until after fall elections.  I sometimes feel as if some people are threatened in some way.  Why doesn't anyone push to get Obama's college records released?  I think everytime someone comes up with something, they are smeared, and possibly threatened somehow.  Paul Rand has at least a budget plan to cut $1 trillion over 10 years and still maintain the status quo in government.  He is ridiculed, lied about how he would eliminate social security and medicare, etc.
 
It is also very wrong if poll after poll on various issues say the majority want this or don't want that, yet the politicians will not vote that way and get things done.

If I am reading this correctly, Boehner is turning his back on Issa & the other republicans that want to move forward with Fast & Furious. I wish I was surprised, but Boehner is a low life RINO, we need to get rid of each RINO involved with dropping this!!

I think this is simply election year politics, and that the GOP is facing the reality of the situation.  They do not have the votes to secure articles of impeachment, nor do they have the votes in the Senate to remove Holder from office.  On that basis, and the fact that Holder has openly refused to provide documents, why proceed with this investigation?

Good point & likely true, though I don't like it alt all. And as the article said, it is likely that
Boehner is afraid of the Old race card at election time. One thing is for sure if that's the case, it should be revived later & not dropped until the truth is known.
