Name That Gunfighter 23
« on: February 02, 2004, 03:49:30 AM »
A man named Sam Holstein had been employed in a job that ___?___ wanted, and one afternoon ___?___ called him out of his hotel room and threatened him.  ___?___ then pulled a pistol and fired, whereupon Holstein aggressively leaped a low gate and grappled with his antagonist.

Holstein tore the gun out of ___?___’s hand and shot him.  ___?___ fell, rose to his feet, and was promptly shot down again.  ___?___ stood up once more, but Holstein shot him a third time.  Again ___?___ arose and staggered away, calling for help, but Holstein once more felled him with a final shot.  ___?___ lasted six hours, bitterly cursing Holstein  until he died at 11:00 P.M.

How about Phillip Taylor?  It's been a tough search, so far.

Very good.  Phillip Taylor is the correct answer.

Think if I'da been "Doboy", seein' as how I couldn't hang on to my hogleg, I'da stayed down after that first hit.  Obviously, at least in this case, persistence doesn't make up for ineptness.

Yessir, being tough and dumb is a pretty darn good way to end up dead.

well, now lets see if we can sort this out. My dang computer crashed 12/31 an it has been down till 1/31 waitin fer tha brain transplant. It took me a full day to sort thru tha trash on my e-mail. Then i couldn't log on here to post til GB fixed my screw-up. Nice guy that GB.
In tha mean time I been converting a shed to another place I can go to smoke. MY wife kicked me outta tha house. Gonna start reloading an this project fit in with my needs (wants).
That dang shed is barn shaped and aint nothin bout it that is square or plumb. This project, which i thought would take two weeks, is now goin on three weeks an i'm bout three weeks away from finishing it.
I have had to make jigs for ever piece on tha end walls in order to get the plywood to fit (an they still don't ). Well, my carpentery skills are bout in line with my computer skills, aint got none, no sirree, nohow, noway,
Tha cost of this project has exceeded my estimate bout 300%. My son was helpin me and busted his finger in a fit of anger cause a cut wouldn't fit.
Good to be back in town boys.
Blessings
