Raging Bull in 45 Colt
« on: June 02, 2012, 03:41:22 AM »
I have a Raging Bull in 45 Colt, six shot, 6" barrel, bright polished stainless. I also have a Raging Bee in 218 Bee (duh!). Does anyone know if (and how) many of either of these were made?
Another question on the Bee....the chambers are considerably oversized (length, not diameter). Is this common, as I have read other similar accounts? Should anything be done about it (like send it back to Taurus), other than adjusting the sizing die accordingly and not using the loads/brass in any other 218 Bee chambered firearm? My inclination is the latter.

Crooked Creek,
I have the Tracker 218 Bee, which is a 6.5" bbl and a 7-shooter revolver.  It is probably my favorite revolver since I am always found taken it to the shooting range often.  Mine actually has some tight chambers and the cylinder length does not allow longer bullets.  I can barely put some 55 grain type bullets that don't have the long ogive.  One of the major issues I have encountered with my reloads is that if the powder is dirty, it fouls the cylinder and that makes it a tight fit for the next set of rounds to fire; thus, increasing pressure and sometimes getting the case stuck in the cylinder or hard to eject the empties.  Other than that, when I make my favorite loads, I can shoot all day with it and accuracy is great.  How does your shoots?
