polishing a sizing die
« on: February 02, 2004, 06:40:15 AM »
Hello,
My old RCBS sizing die is a little scratchy, and needs to be polished.
I figure that I can cut a slot in a wooden dowel, and place a piece of emory paper in it,say 600 grit.
Then I can chuck the other end into my drill press, and polish the die by holding it over the spinning paper. Would it be better to hold the die in a vise, and use the drill handle to move the paper into the die?
Is there a better way,altogether?
Thanks,
Frank
