TOKAREV.................
« on: June 07, 2012, 02:38:57 PM »
Is a Romainan Tokarev from the Cugir plant  a good one to buy ? Will the safety likey to have been  put on at the plant or somplace other ? Will the safety  work or will it need to be taken off . Any other input about this gun  good or bad would be read with interest .  Is the muzzle blast louder then say a four inch 357.

The tokarev's from any country are really neat to collect since there very affordable.  I have a few different ones and all the safeties work.  The chinese at norinco sports offered two different calibers in the tokarev's the 9mm parabellium and the 7,62x25 tok.  The yugo m57 apears to be a brand new piece.
Some safety applications were butchered and the ones without a safety lever will bring big bucks.
