Lyman 200 gr gas checked (358315) in the .357 Maximum

Working on a load for a 16.5" barreled Handi Rifle for 50-75 yard white tail hunting. Curious as to whether or not anyone up here has ever developed this load.

In a reg. .357,Dan Wesson, my load for years has been 13gr. of 296/H110 under a 210gr LBT bullet with a gas check. I'ld check out a load for what they recomend in the T/C in that Maxi case. That Handi ought to handle that with no problem. gypsyman

I'm working from T/C data. Just curious if anyone had experience with this as a hunting round.

Don't have any experience with that particular bullet; however, I do have some data on a 190 gr gas checked Ranch Dog.  Lil Gun has given me the best accuracy to date.  I love aa1680 for jacketed, but it didn't do as well with the cast.

Are those 100 yard targets? 20.5 of LilGun looks about right for you :)
