The real issue for me is circumventing congress, which is the legislative branch, not following existing laws, which were put in place through the legislative branch, and to be honset I'm getting pretty tired of going around our laws and constitution, and not enforcing existing laws, actually not even putting forth the effort to change the existing laws if you don't like them...which is the process we are supposed to use.
Putting a side all the feel good comments, gee what should we do for those people, gee whizz it's not their fault...whatever. I'm more concerned about the American process falling a part due to emotion...which should not EVER be used in place of the law.
I care more about what we are actually doing to the process of running this country than I do about anything else right now. It appears to me the people in control of our government are too dam lazy to enforce laws, or change laws...they just don't give a damn about the three branches of government anymore or the constitution.
Do you think these socialists who take over our process in government are emotional fools, or is it the people who elect them that are fools, and they just know how to use voters emotions. Obama don't give a rats ass about anyone, we all know it. Neither does anyone else in his party (or any party), they care about votes and power. They don't have to care...lots of other people fall apart and care enough to let them do what they want to do. That's all they need.

I think people should stop crying about these illegals and start worrying about what's happening inside our government, we have no damn checks and balances anymore. That should concern us all.

Perhaps our federal government should make a valid attempt to enforce all the laws of our land. I understand this is a novel idea for the left, but its always worth a shot trying to explain.

The left always loves to respond with the excessive extrapolations that are not happening, such as the Nazi door to door fear comments. But when you can't defend the indefensible, you have to resort to these type of fear tactics.

What we know for sure is, there are about 20 to 30 million people here illegally and that is just wrong. There are millions of Americans out of work and I think those jobs being taken by illegals would be a welcome option to one of our fellow Americans who could use a pay check.

BTW: Obama has not deported more than anyone. Its simpy a result of more boarder agents who are catching illegals as they cross the boarder and they immediatly sent back, like within hours. Obama is not performing the raids needed on employers and has rolled back this type of enforcement and Veri Check requirements.

Talk about supporting cheap labor....

I tried to find any hard numbers, and it varied by website. But, it looks like Federal prisons, hold the largest percentage of illegals, since crossing the border is a federal crime. Somewhere between 21% and 33%. Although when checking, California had a 50% or higher percentage of illegals in their prisons, and cost just in the Ca. prison system due to illegals was around 1 billion. Here is the catch, state and local prisons/jails I couldn't find any numbers on. As with local affairs, percentage's arn't figured in, as the prisoners come and go so rapidly. Assualts,burglary's,B&E, the crimes that city police,county sheriff's and the like, would no doubt raise the percentage. Once again, sure would like to see the world thru the rose colored glass's some of you wear. gypsyman

When the laws are followed, that is usually a pretty good start for attempting to be moral. When you devise plans to circumvent the laws, thats a pretty good indication of an immoral act. Obama and his administration are immoral.

I've known a few Mexicans, and liked some of them. I don't hold it against them for coming here for opportunity, when things were very grim where they were. I'd do same, probably. I think that deporting them - especially children, and those who've been here a long while & worked & contributed to America - is un-Christian and not in our national interest. I understand that others have a diff view; some going so far as to look forward to shooting Mexicans at the border.

Those are the only real questions we as citizens should be able to answer. Let the bureaucrats deal with the details in the "spirit" of enforcing the law. That's the way the system is suppose to work. That's what fair. If the People don't like the laws they can vote in politicians to change it. Until then, the government is suppose to enforce. Thats whats fair, then the systems works the way it is suppose to.

More and more states in this country are installing " Castle Domain " laws so that if someone breaks into your home to steal from you or do you harm , YOU have the right to defend yourself , even using Deadly Force if needed . Yet the Fed's see no problem with letting hundreds of thousands of people BREAK IN TO our country and steal from us and in many case's do us harm , but thats OK !

At what point do I have to provide food and shelter to a criminal , its just not adding up , they use the " Watch List " to make sure that the bad guys don't come to the U.S. by airplane , yet 5000 + people a day can come across the border and who's checking them = NO ONE !
