« on: February 03, 2004, 07:46:57 AM »
i loaded up some .223 using these dies, 3 of each, ive been using the rcbs die but had to send it in,with the rcbs i had it sighted in at 100 yards, shot the ones i loaded up with the lee die and it shot 2 inches high,1 inch to the right. so different brands of dies will do this?

went out to the shop and looked at the target again, the lee die group was only 1 inch higher than the rcbs, and not 1 inch to the right, more less dead on,just 1 inch higher.

your impact change was probably due to temperature conditions and not the die. There are a lot of things that affect impact point from barometric pressure to humidity and temperature. The only way to be sure is to shoot them one after the other on the same day.

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
