streets infested with kids driving golf carts
« on: June 18, 2012, 08:52:33 AM »
seems like this will not end well.  I don't know about you guys but a few years ago I started seeing a few "golf cars" on the roads. then more, then more and more, now they are everywhere loaded down with adults, kids and dogs hanging off of them.
I don't even know if they are actually "golf carts" sorry I don't know what the heck they really are. Now I'm hearing that they are street legal?  wow.

I have yet to hear of the first (full size truck/car) meets "golf cart" bloodbath accident but I'm pretty sure I can predict who is gonna walk (or drive) away and who's not.  ouch...don't wanna think about it!  its bound to happen.

yeah don't get me wrong, in an isolated community and can understand a few of them running around but now they are out there like they are normal cars and trucks....woah like I said this won't be good at the end of the day.  I like teaching kids responsibility like everyone else but a ten yo can drive a golf cart through an intersection?  like I said earlier, I don't even wanna think about things going wrong.

I just wonder when/if anything is gonna come to a head regarding this issue.  I don't know, maybe its not going on where you live?
