Not racist by any stretch.  It just means the thugs will have to work a little longer when they shoot a person for their shoes.   Hopefully, it take long enough for the LEOs to show up and shoot the thug.   Occasionally, we need to chlorinate the gene pool.

Nothing wrong with em. Just goes with the tats and peircings. If someone wants to wear them, have at it. I can remember a pair of 3 inch heels I wore in the early seventies.

I seen girls wearing dog collers , nose rings (to keep them from rooting?) handcuffs as braclets.
So what's the big deal about shackles?
