Hello All,

Been doing some research--it appears the Savage 110 has barrel threads of 1.055" OD, 20V TPI and shank length of 1.565" (can anyone confirm or deny?)

Are the Savage 210 barrels the same threads?  Or, is the action larger/different shape?

I have several Remington 700 and Winchester 70 barrels which I'd like to rethread to fit a Savage 210.  Anyone done this?  Major thread diameter is ~1.000"-1.050" on my barrels, so is a sleeve fitted to the barrels and returned to 20 TPI, or am I way off base?

Thanks!

I'm currently re-barreling my savage 210 and the outside dia of the threads are 1.120 ". Are you trying to use the Rem. 700 action to make a shotgun or the other way around? I don't know if you would have enough thickness for the threads. Are you good friends with a local gunsmith?
