I added a link to the OP on a great article on the 9.3x62. Case capacity is about the same as a 35 Whelen AI, so loaded to the same pressure it's pretty much an equal, the 9.3 just has a shorter neck, Nosler data shows the 250gr Accubond to just shy of 2600fps in a 26" barrel, traditional data is loaded to 50kpsi, same size case head as 30-06, in fact 30-06 brass can be formed to 9.3x62.

Gentlemen, I'm a little late getting in on this but- use caution re: forming 9.3x62 brass from .30-06 brass. 9.3x62 case dia. just ahead of the extractor groove is actually .473"-.474" (Grafs Privi whatever brass) whereas the largest of several brands of .30-06 cases I have on hand measure .467" and the smallest goes .463" at the same point. Even the .467" dia. O6 case when fired in a chamber as much larger as the 9.3x62 is will expand the case wall to conform to the larger chamber but not the base or web of the case. This invites case separation at the front of the case web if reloaded only two or three times when fired in a BOLT ACTION rifle.
I know this how? I have a commercial Mauser chambered for (?) .338-06. The chamber is oversize enough (confirmed by chamber cast) that after several near case separations I relegated it to mild loads only. Recently I got hold of a few 9.3x62 Graf cases and after carefully measuring them formed and fireformed three in my ".338-06" chamber, after which they looked, measured and fit just as they should, unlike cases fireformed from .30-06 brass which has so distinct a bulge at the front of the web as to catch a thumbnail when run across it. Form 9.3x62 from '06 at your own risk!
