stihl's north to alaska

did anyone watch todays episode on the sitka deer hunt?  throughout the hunt larry keeps refering to the sitka as a small exotic deer from asia.  they should at least clue him in on the species he is hunting, i kept laughing the entire time, you would think someone on the show would know the difference between a blacktail sitka and an asain sika deer.  maybe they should just stick to fishing!!!

The igloo is leaking tonight, a grizzly is sitting at the bottom of my cache and the damn caribou are crapping all over the dogsled path to school.

Life is not easy up here and trying to keep track of all the misconceptions is time consuming. :)

I'd like to try to continue here but a mosquito is trying to carry the dog off.
