I shoot the herrets in a Thompson contender , different guns may require different methods .I use 375 winchester brass for my 357 herrett and 30-30 for my 30 herrett , the 375 winchester brass is stronger and it makes it easy to tell at a glance what it is .Have never needed to ream . I use imperial sizing wax for case forming , I have not found anything that works better for me . I will usually cut a case close in length and then setup the sizing die to start to were the action will not close and then turn the die in 1/16th turn increments until the action will close without having to snap it closed .
