Of course he won't. RP is a spoiler, he will do his best to keep his name in the news which  will ensure the obamination victory in Nov. If he really cared about America he would support the ONLY one with a chance to dethrone the obamination. I expected this from him. At least his son cares about America. Ron paul stands by what he beieves in. If Romney is elected the country will remain on the same course it is on at the moment, a continueing bail out bungle as we continue to sink. ear

I can understand why RP will no line up behind Romney, as he is trying to leverage his "candidacy" for a speaking slot at the Convention in Tampa.   To a certain extent, he is the conscience of the GOP.

However, in the final analysis, all free-thinking capitalist Americans must line up against Obama and his socialist policies.

Good for him . Finally a man who stands by his convictions. Damn rare now days in Washington sewers.
Good to see a man who has a true backbone who wont be bought or cowtow to status quo.
He is absolutely correct, The GOP has lost it's way.

Actually not so much lost it's way as it has been hijacked by right wing obstructionist extremist who would rather see our economy crumble, than actually do the job we sent them to Washington to do for the people.

I stand with RP.

That is the minimum level of honor I would expect from Ron Paul.  He knows for a fact that Romney is a NWO globalist commie, who takes his marching orders from the exact same puppet masters as Obama.

If Ron Paul would have endorsed this traitor, it would prove that he is not for real after all; and I would be extremely disappointed.

Obama is not a Socialist. Socialists advocate government ownership of the means of production. Obama is a Fascist. The difference is that Fascist control the means of production through laws and regulations but allow private ownership. In that way, if things go wrong, as they always do with a centrally controlled economy, they can falsely blame capitalism or those evil oil companies. Both Romney and Obama are Statists and believe that government should control the economy. Fascism is a fatal disease with it's seed of destruction built in from the beginning. It ultimately will go they way of all the Socialist states and self destruct. The reason is that it interferes with the free market economy which is the only system that works for the betterment of mankind. A vote for Romney is also a vote against your country. Ron Paul is one of the few educated well enough to know this and does not want to participate. I don't either.
The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

I'm amazed at how many will ridicule a man who stands by his beliefs and won't sell his soul and vote for a liberal.

This ain't the Kentucky Derby.  This is about rebelion from tyranny. That is how this country was founded; and apparently the only possibility of preserving it now.

I'm not complaining about his being a quitter, I figure each man or woman has to chart their own course and few of us from where we sit, can pronounce whether they are making a right or wrong choice.
Fact is, I didn't trash Sarah Palin when she quit either...simply because as with Ron Paul...nobody knows these folk's business like they do.  We have to assume they are smart people, capable of making the best informed choice for themselves.

When Ron Paul is gone, if he has no successor, it will be because the country is gone.

And yes, it is truth and integrity that is killing our country.  Please stop, and get back in step.  Obomney 2012.

Well, he should completely apologize for endorsing him, and withdraw the endorsement.

By the way, and for what's it's worth; I hear tell that Rue Paul will be endorsing Obama.

You shouldn't be! That's the direction the left has been moving this country, slowly, for many years. Honesty, integrity, and standing firm for what one believes in is suborned to the need to win no matter the consequences. It has come to the point that refusing to cast your lot with masses, and sticking to a principled stance is not only ridiculed, but condemned as if you are traitor.

Combine that with the fact that the "conservative party" has also been slowly pushing their collective snouts deeper & deeper into the public trough and you end up with people calling true conservatives radicals and having liberal/socialist candidates like McCain and Romney called moderates. And when a true conservative/constitutionalist like Paul comes along the republicans turn their back on him and ridicule those who support him.

That's how we got where we are now and there appears to be no turning back. It would take honesty, moral integrity, and a willingness to accept constitutional limits........America no longer has those :'(

CC just summed up the whole deal very nicely. It's very sad that we've come to this point.
