Finally a 30-30 the way I want it.  Ejector barrel, Leupy M8 4X compact, Numrich mount, Warne QD rings, TCA rear sight, BC carbine wood.  Life is good.  Now I gotta make time to shoot it.

Let's see...if I slapped my scoped 158 barrel on my Buff classic ...I'd have a similar  rig... nawwww..it's just fine on the profiled 158 receiver....But yers looks sooooooooo nice! :)

It looks great.  I like the BC wood on light recoilers.  My Maxi and .32-20 are set up that way.  Enjoy.

is that just a standard tca rear dovetail sight, i love the look of it, one of those may convince me to make my topper 158 open sights again.

Looks real sharp!  I just had a 22 Hornet barrel fit to my BC and am still figuring out what I want to do for sights - you sure have given me an idea or two... It just has the factory Williams sight right now.

Thanks for complements.  Sorry for bad camera.

Bug bit me hard 2 years ago when my Maxi barrel locked up best on my BC carbine receiver.  Felt right, balanced well, and forend looks just 'better' with 22" barrel.  Just kept finding I liked to shoot it more because if fit so well.

Rear sight [fleabay] supposedly for TC muzzleloader, buckhorn because I can see it sharper.  I can see it over the mount also, and note the 'ears' of the scope rail 'kinda' frame and help center the rear sight, just fyi...

Was initially reluctant to do this, because the "5's" might resent a "0", but they seem to like having another sister.  But they wanted to model for the camera too, so here they are, my other ladies in their best: 45-70 W&H, 357 Maxi, 25-06.
