I bought a tube of it, I like it because it removes quite a bit of powder and copper fouling and is without organic solvent vapor.  I did however find that cleaning initially with blue magic and then cleaning with Sweets 7.62 was faster.  (Just don't leave the Sweets in too long), a couple of dry patches, one lightly oiled and the rifle is ready to go.  Jimmyp

I have to say I get into a rut of doing things one way and not experimenting with new ways of doing it better. I have been using G.I. Rifle bore cleaner and G.I. Weapons Oil from Colemans surplus for quite a few years now.  It seems to just melt cosmo out of the bores but for cleaning the rifles when they come in full of cosmo I use a large plastic tank from walmart full of Kerosene.  The Albanian sks's were the worst cosmolined guns I have ever seen I just let them soak for a few days then scrub them with a soft parts cleaning brush.   And for cleaning after shooting with corrosive ammo I run wet patches of G.I. rifle bore cleaner (or hoppes in the old days)thru it until there clean then a dry patch then oil it up. After doing this for many years my barrels still look like the day I got them. But your right I should try something new but my only thing is cost too remember I'm frugal too.(kidding)                 BigBill
