There are some out there that use these scandals to make the generalization... Christians are pedophiles! That's not true, of course, and most making the accusation just don't like Catholics, specifically. Sadly, some of the more vociferous accusers are my Baptist friends.


FYI... I don't believe Catholics are prone to child abuse any more than Baptists

I posted the stats as to the churches and percentages that commited sexual abuse sins. For some unknown reason it was deleated.

Abuse of all kinds is far too common.It is found in churches, schools, as well as families. I have witnessed what abuse has done to individuals.  To not allow others to be informed about such matters; helps contribute to it's continuation. Awareness as to where it is happening helps us look for it in our own circles and hopefully stop it.
