The northern Indiana county I live in has enacted a burn ban. We need rain really bad. The sunflowers in my food plots will be lucky to get knee high. FWIW, the buckwheat that was planted has prooven to be extremely drought tolerant even in poor,light soil. I feel for farmers and others that make their living growing things and have no irrigation. It has to be gut-wrenching to watch your crops wither before your very eyes and not be able to do anything about it. RAIN BABY RAIN!!!!

TOBSTER. Freeman lake at Elizabethtown KY, S of Ft Knox, is down a good 8 ftt, we were there last Mon. Last rain we had was 1st of the mo about 2 tenths of an in. I'm down to 1 1/2 bbl of rain water for the garden. POWDERMAN.
