NYS Proposed new Handgun fees
« on: February 04, 2004, 02:18:13 AM »
Again this year the Governor of NY has shown he is turning his back on the law abiding sportsman in the state and becoming a California wanna be. His new proposal to raise money is a User fee for handgun owners. $100 every 5 years and $25 for each addition or deletion, this is over and above the local fees (which he took the cap off of).

His ban on MBTE, following California's lead has all ready led to a 14 cent increase in our gas prices.

We are one of only a few states that do ballistic fingerprinting for every new handgun purchased and this is the same Governor who wants to serialize every bullet sold in the state.

If you live in New York call or write your Representative's and tell them enough is enough and not to support the Governors proposed new user fees.  Remember if you don't voice your concern your rights will be slowly taken away. :money:

OK all you New York shooters, let's go for it.  Contact your representative and Senator (even if they are slimy libruls) and let's try and put this one down.  Mikey.
