Gentleman

This evening I spoke with Veral Smith on the telephone. It seems to be more and more rare that one encounters a gentlemen in modern times.

Veral was kind, helpful, and courteous. Good on you Veral Smith. You made a friend today. With the coarseness and matter-of-fact way people often dialogue with others, it was refreshing to speak with someone steeped in decency.

All the best from "Kaintuck'

I spoke to him by phone several times in the past. I agree 100%. He was as kind and helpful as anyone I have ever talked to. reflex264

Couldn't agree more, Jay.

From the first time I contacted Veral he treated me like a life-long friend. Add to that the superior quality of his products and you have a winner of a man.

Thank you, Veral.

He's a quality guy. Maybe I can scrape up enough on August 1, to get two of his molds. . .

My research tells me that both his lube and molds are the standard against which all others are measured.

Hats off to Veral.

He has helped me take cast bullets to a much higher level- from being a cheaper way to shoot while sacrificing quality to being the preferred way to shoot.

All that it takes is to follow his instructions exactly.

It is so nice to enjoy a fun hobby as opposed to being frustrated and accepting poor results.

Thank you very, very much Veral!

Gotta throw my hat into this ring! Veral is a one-of-a-kind! I met Veral over snail mail back when I still lived in Maine; I left there in 1985, so sometime before that. I bought his book, gave it to a pal, and bought another one. My casting has all been on a very economic level, so have yet to purchase a mold (don't think I could get just one), but nevertheless, Veral has educated me in the fine points of shooting cast bullets to the level where my last entries in my freezer, antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer and elk, were all harvested with my own "flying wheelweights" and Veral's lube, the Blue Soft.

Veral, you made the difference in me being able to shoot when funds were very tight, and having to hang up my guns or sell out - neither of which were much for options. THANK YOU, SIR!

I haven't responded to this post yet because all I could say is thank you, gentlemen!

It's good to hear such compliments, as my wife tells me I'm a bit too quick to hang up when talking on the phone, (if I'm in a hurry) and that I'm not friendly enough most of the time.  I know shes right when she tells me, but this tells me that you guys are guys too!

The real reason I'm responding though is this last comment about me helping get results though I didn't sell a mold.  That suits me just fine, and the fact that I kept you shooting and helped you shoot good,  makes me happier than if you had said that you bought 100 molds from me over the years.   You see.    THIS INFORMATION THING IS WHAT I DID PRISON FOR.  THE FALSE CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST ME HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!    I LOVE TO HEAR THAT I'VE SPIT IN THEIR EYES!  (Big brother gets very offensive about anyone, and especially everyone,  knowing how to make their own ammo, just in case you didn't get my point.)
