The Constitution, Bill of Rights & seperation of powers.
« on: June 30, 2012, 10:10:21 AM »
Per the Subject title, None of these thngs were written for the "Government". They were written for the citizens. The Executive branch, the Legislative branch and the Judicial branch are all working to take as much power as each branch can. It is up to the citizens to use the powers granted themselves to protect the Country "the citizens" from Govermemt.
-
Of our written government, how many things were provided to allow the citizens to have enough power to maintain control of the country?
-
How and when can or will the citizens take the country back? What will the approach be? ear

Won't happen. Too many of America's citizens are now feeding at the government trough and have learned they can vote themselves more.

I concur. It will never happen, for the reason above, and to add too that to many people just plain don't know any better.  Nor do they know anything about the Constitution. They think its the way it should be, and its exactly what we got, because its exactly what we voted for. The Constitution will be nothing but a piece of paper that some guys wrote years ago that didn't know what they were talking about. It will continue to be changed by a government that hates the restrictions the Constitution puts on them. Cause the masses figure as long as they are getting theirs, it don't matter.

It will happen! But the collapse comes first.

The liberty movement has already started and will be there when all people loose total confidence in the government. There will be much turmoil in between.
The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

God I wish that were true......that there would actually be a "movement" that could pick u p the pieces and restore our nation.

Saddly it won't happen that way. As things get progressively worse the government will destroy any "cabel" that has any hope of surviving and restoring......with the blessings of "the people". As the collapse worsens they will become ever more vicious in their acts to round up and irradicate the "radicals" who resist in any way. Rioting will break down into factions that will attack each other then break down further into anarchy. While this is happening essential services will fail no hospitals, no medicine no utilities, no transportation, no fuel, no communication.......and while this is happening "the people" will look to the government for salvation and will turn on any group that tries to show them the real way to freedom.

The American government has become the largest social/political entity  to ever exist. As it dies it will lash out with a savagery that is unimaginable.

It will make those holocaust movies you've all seen look like a Sunday picnic. And those of us who are old enough to remember true freedom....well we are old and we failed to teach multiple generations what it takes to remain free. I personally take four meds every day to stay alive and I'm actually in damned good shape for a man my age I can run, fight, shoot, hunt, ride a horse, pack half my weight in equipment....but what happens when things break down to the point that I can't get those meds any more though? Soon we will be gone. :'(

Cuts, no doubt much of this will happen for a time.

When the financial collapse comes the government will loose it's ability to govern. Nobody works without pay. The people will look to the government and find nothing. They will then turn on government. No government can survive when it is not supported by a majority of the people. A new form of government and a new currency will then have to be found. In between, there will no doubt be a time of social unrest.
Ron Paul has started the Liberty Movement. It will live and grow as more people become disillusioned.

If we continue the bailout dirrecton we are going now we will move straight into socialism. The collapse is necessary to relevel the plaaying field and bring people back to reality. The collapse will bring the tools of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights into play. Continuing the bailout dirrection will allow the continued blockage and dismemberment of both documents.

Both sides of the isle are being pasafied at this time.  Coorporate/banking welfare is welfare just the same as welfare for the none working poor and disabled.  They are only paper until they are put to use. Citizens are the insturments but both.  ear
