geezerbiker had my first suggestion. I was recently loading 257 wby with 100 grain sierra flat based spitzers and ran out of older brass and broke a batch of new weatherby brass. I crushed a couple necks and couldnt figure out why. then a light bulb went off in my head. I had been in a hurry and didnt champer them. After champering they went in the necks much easier and i didnt have a single crushed case.

Had an acquaintance call me a couple days ago. Had a similar problem with brand new Remington brass in 30-06. He bought it primed, and said he champered the necks. I asked him if he had run the brass thru the full lenght sizer die. He said he didn't. I told him to take the de-capping pin out, and run the rest of the brass thru it. Just maybe it had been sized down to far when Remington stamped it out. I haven't heard back from him, so maybe that curied it. gypsyman

Have you checked the diameter of the bullets?
Best of luck with those VG bullets and hitting anything with them. I've found their accuracy to be non-existent. Maybe that's why they are discontinuing production.

always been told bullets should be .002 larger than case neck opening these measure .003 greater may stick to a boat tail bullet

I'm confuzzled here , are you trying to use the same seating die for both 204 as well as 223 ? Thats the only way I can see both 26g and 52g bullets , or I missing something ?

They have proven very accurate from my .204 AR and right at MOA from my .223/5.56 ARs.  The only ones I've had problems with are the 6mm and I found that checking them for a fractured core prior to loading takes care of any problems. If you shake them and the rattle cull them for foulers because the core is bad. Otherwise they've shot great for me.  I use Reloader10x in .223 and Reloader19 in .243.
