   Just imagine, telling our Border Patrol if they encounter an active shooter..to "run away and hide", or as a last resort..to "throw things" at the shooter !
 
  Here, even the unions are disgusted..  perhaps, in fact likely..the Border Patrol is made up of a differnt constitution than the usual "govt check collector".. they Want to stop the alien invasion and consider it their duty to stop the same..
 
  The same attitude is creeping into the military (from the top down).. again the reason many are leaving the military.   Some men have a conscience.. whether their political leader do... or don't.

Interesting! Our training Sgt just came back from a conference for trainers that is preaching just the opposite! In an active shooter situation they now teach line officers to go after the the shooter aggressively, instead of the old "contain and wait for SWAT" doctrine.

Yes, YOU should read it, and then think about telling ARMED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS (that would be the BP agents) to hide out and call Law enforcement.  They ARE law enforcement.  For unarmed office staff, the instructions make some sense.  For armed agents, it makes little or no sense at all.  The best thing they can do if they are at the scene of an "active shooter incident" is to put two to the center of mass and one to the central nervous system of the thug rather than allowing him free range to keep shooting.
