Macon Gunstocks still offering stocks for the TCR, but they list them as encores / contenders. I went to their website
www.macongunstocks.com and clicked on encores. That took me to a stock labeled contender, but it is for the TCR. They offer a machine inlet stock that requires fitting and considerable shaping. The throughbolt hole was angled for the 83, but there was enough extra wood to allow fitting to an 87 frame. Took about 30 hours of work, but I'm really slow. They also offer custom fitting and checkering. The stock they sent me was a plain, straight grained, but very solid, piece of wood. No sapwood or major faults. Prices are very reasonable. I'm new to GBGO and thought that this information might be of some help. I have three 87s, one 83, and nine barrels, so I guess you could say I like these little rifles.
