Bullberry tuned trigger issue?
« on: July 08, 2012, 05:49:38 AM »
Hey all,
I have a frame that was tuned up by Bullberry. It had a real light trigger pull almost too light. While shooting it this last week. I noticed it getting heavier. Not real heavy but around 3-4 lbs. I dry fired it a few times today and it seems to be hit or miss if it's heavy or not. I am using a different barrel. It is a VV .22 barrel with a different firing pin. Not sure if this could cause the trigger issue or if it might be the way it locks up? Any info would be greatly appreciated as this is my son't first deer rifle and I want it to be reliable. Maybe a adjustment screw moving?
Thanks,
Jeremia

Also had quite a few rounds through it before I noticed this so it isn't a new frame job.
Thanks,

Justr switched to the .243 barrel and the trigger is back to being light. Maybe tension somewhere from the other barrel?

Cleaned out the trigger and remounted the barrel and good as new. Must have been a little debris in there. Jim Hendershot has been helping me through this and a few other bumps in my Encore education. He is GTG as far as I am concerned and responds quicker than I can type : )
