Midway says it is in stock and shippable.

Cabela's says it's "out of stock - backorderable", but the availability note says that they will be shipping back orders in 3 -4 weeks.

Order now, don't worry, be happy, get a couple hundred and you won't even wonder how many you need !

BUT DO IT NOW !

I called Natchez yesterday, they said none in stock. Could leave a "call me" on their web site if I wanted. DP

between the midway order on the truck now and my cabelas back order

me and my sons have a lifetime supply.....and posibly enough for grand kids

can't have too much brass or to many moulds

Just got off the phone with Midway, have 300 cases coming monday, $93.00 with shipping and the extra pennies going to the NRA. With what I have on hand, I should be set for the rest of my shooting life in the Maxie brass.

Today, the 10th of July 2012, MidwayUSA has returned 357 Maxi brass to "out of stock - no backorder".
I posted that it was available on the 8th, and warned "do it now!". In hindsight that was very good advice. Cabela's is still accepting orders for this brass, even though they don't expect to ship fo 2-3 weeks. With the Cabela's ClubVisa free shipping, and my points applied, I saved a bit over $20; one of the many reasons I like Cabela's.

I got a 100 from each vendor. I also wear a belt and suspenders.

I just snagged 100 from Graf & Sons at a decent price. They sold out quick and now also list it as out of stock.

I'm glad that you and the other poster from the other 357max brass thread posted the max availability, otherwise I would've missed out on the purchase.

I got a few more from Midway Weds. And some SSP 180s... And some 1680 local. Got the $20 off and change to NRA. Figure I'm good for awhile, too.

Now I gotta ream my other 357 rifle. Daughter's all fired up because her BFF has a 'huntn' license. OMG the girl shot Bambi..! You did know Bambi was a buck?

Today I got the white box with 100 RP 357 Maxi cases inside in my big old calloused and sweaty hands. It feels good, haha. I got some 35 Rem brass at the same time, and more Rem 243 brass is due Tuesday. One more box of Maxi is still due from Cabela's, who takes excellent care of customers with backordered items, so I'm not worried there.
And for some reason I'm cranking out 357 mag with my turret press when I'm not processing 338 Win Mag brass for some masochism at the bench.

Their site does not indicate shipping charges without actually placing order. Or, did I miss something?

Shipping is usually based on $ amount of the order unless there are extra heavy items or hazmat items in the order. It is explained on the website.

I have 300 on reserve at cabelas since may. I got emails every month saying that they are pushing the date back. now they are saying end of july. will see and i was able to get 300 somewhere else which is probobly all i will need for a life time anyway.

Just a heads up. Midway has them available again since about a week ago. You can offset the cost of some of the shipping using coupon codes. I used the ones I found from slickguns.

Maybe they're not going to be scarce this year afterall???
Only one's not available are the 2000pc bulk, so a few out there has probably been stocking up.

Cabelas pushed back their 7/30 date to 8/30 to get Maxi cases that have been backordered.
GRRRRR.
I'm glad I diversified and ordered from Midway too; I already received those.

Today, 11 AUG 12, I received the last order of Maxi brass. It had been backordered at Cabela's, and they predicted shipping around 30 AUG, so in a weird way it's early.
It came in the Big Green official packing, a bag of 100 cases. Midway's stuff is always in white boxes; I think they re-package bulk brass.
I now have 300 cases, enough for my lifetime, as long as that zombie thing doesn't happen.
