Buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are
Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R. Some people
Worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companiesIn the United States . If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stopSelling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns.

Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by
A company called Cerberus Capital Management.

If there's one thing I've learned from my time here as a moderator it's this:
 
If people can't win using logic they'll just call the other side names.
No, not that.  That's rule 2.
If a given chain mail or internet link supports a member's predisposition they will not bother to concern themselves with it's veracity.
No, not that. That's rule 3.
If an obscure website supports your agenda it's the truth and if it opposes it it's obviously not legitimate.
No, not that.  That's rule 4.
 
OH wait, I know:
If a third party "fact checking" website declares your agenda-based chain email to be untruthful or even flatly false, it is a Communist agenda supporting, pink underwear wearing, feminst, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, Democrat voting, Obama supporting, piece of propaganda!

This is only the second one of these today.  Please, can we check these types of things at least briefly before posting them?
 
Oh, and I should add, this is not directed at you 45-70, I do not consider you to be a regular offender of any of the above rules...  This is just a personal frustration with those (and they happen to lie on both sides of the political spectrum) who would rather read something consistent than read something that is true.

  While I have no info on this subject, I suppose the best indicator of what their intentions are..will be in what they do with the firms they bought up.
   As far as SNOPES, I don't trust them implicitly, since a leftward spin is often noticeable.  After all, they are a Mom & pop operation doing research as best they can.  Likely they asre more attuned to the left..just as I would be attuned to the right, were I to do the same job.
   Just don't accept their pronouncements as un varnished, "graven in stone" truth.
 
   On the other hand, whan the NRA-ILA speaks on the subject, it engenders more confidence.
