Yesterday morning our wireless router was working fine. In the afternoon I got home and noticed it had lost its security configuration, so it was essentially open to anyone who wanted to use our internet service. I quickly took care of that, but have not seen that symptom before. Have you had that experience? Symptom was that the network name changed to a default name rather than the name I gave it.
