Jason,     Tell us more about your kill and the 50-70's performance.
You have the first blood with one of the 50-70 handis that I know of unless you count the blood loss and 7 stitches I suffered at the cost of shooting my 50-70 at my home test range.  BB said I got first blood with one but my own blood dont count.

How was the hunt itself? Some of those "ranches" are not even close to a real open range hunt from what I understand.

I liked it, I am definately going back, they dropped us off and we sat there alone in different spots for about three hours, after a while they started driving hogs to get them moving. Didn't like shooting at them running but I have shot a lot of deer here in Ohio on drive hunts.

The ribs I just made where very tender, after floating around in a crock pot on HI for 18 hrs. :P   Going to Harbor Ft today to buy a meat grinder.  Any recipes for bulk hog sausage would be greatly appreciated. :)
