Whats the going rate these days for used 30 30 Handi in good condition?
I have not followed the market for some time now, and have a lead on one for 225.00

for $210.00 Out the door.... the group on the bottom minus the 2 to the left is 10 shots @ 30 yards bench rested with cast bullets worked up for a different rifle... its all I had.  I think there is potential for it.  I got the Simmons 3X9 with the iron sight mount with it too.
How did I do?

That's a good buy if it's a factory rifle, grab it, take a look at what they sell for in the H&R classifieds!!  ;)

She's a good look'in rifle!  And the 30-30's are one of the consistantly good shooters also.  I'm sure you will enjoy it every bit as much as I enjoy mine.  44 Man

Nice looking  Handi You did fine on the price. I just got lucky yesterday and picked up an older model30-30 with the straight stock , light barrel with sights,and a 4X Redfield scope for $150 but it is not as nice as yours.

30-30? One of the best and most accurate calibers made by H&R.  $225, Good buy!

Not to hi-jack but...was at a gun show yesterday and friend and I talked a fella down to $200 apiece ??? on some new handi's..friend was wanting to buy them for trading material..the catch was had to take em all. 3 to be exact a .223, 22-250,an a 7mm08 :-\ ...friend didna want the 7-08 so passed on all of em.. :'(

 Mine cost me 200 bucks a couple years ago.....I wouldn't sell it for $250.
