My son recently asked me if I wanted to listen to an audio book. I said that I never have, and didn't know if I could concentrate on it while driving. I agreed to try it so he gave me the book titled American Sniper. I hadn't heard of the book before, but after listening to it, I really liked it. Not so much that it was an audio book, but it was the content of it that I enjoyed.
American Sniper is a book by Chris Kyle who became a Navy Seal and then became one of the most noted snipers in the Iraq war. Its his perspective of being a sniper. While listening to this book, I thought many times "Thank God for men like him." His purpose for wanting to kill insurgents was because he loved America, not because he liked to kill.
In the video he is interviewed by Belinda Luscombe, who is a snotty, arrogant, progressive liberal retread, employed by Time magazine. She should be thanking men like Chris for her being able to flap her gums. Instead of trying to make Chris Kyle out to be a psychotic killer with some of her questions. I thought he answered the questions very well.
