geez I hope we like spaghetti squash!
« on: July 16, 2012, 02:26:42 PM »
I planted 2 of these "cute" little plants in May. I didn't realize that they would turn into the absolute monsters they are now. They have gone absolutely berserk and there has to be at least 2 dozen fruits on them although there could be more because it is like playing Where is Waldo when I go back there and look at them. From what I have read there may be another month or so before they are good and ripe but there are going to be a ton of them.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

they will keep a long time also  so  do worry bout them going bad, i found years ago wit hthese is  cut them in half,  put  the  halves in a large  ziplock bag  leave the  opening  slightly cracked to  let   air out ,  put butter and brown sugar in the  seed opening ,  and micro for 10 to 20 mins depending on mic and size of  squash.  when they are done u can tell they scrap out real easy with a fork . we  like them this way , u can do them with out the brown  sugar also  just with butter and  they are just as  good
