I will thank you for the space and accepting us here.. I know a few here and they are great people for sure... I am not heavy into levers, just have one 336 30-30.. but sure enjoy reading about all you guys that shoot the shoulder breakers.. LOL..

Like the saying goes, "every cloud has a silver lining". If it weren't for the demise of the Marlin Board, I wouldn't have found, and registered for this site. Thanks for the warm welcome. This is a great site. I just spent an hour on your cap n ball revolver forum....outstanding! Oh, by the way, I was Johnny Zero on Marlin Talk.

:-) I didn't post often on the Marlin Talk site but used to check it regularly. Got lots of good reloading info for my 45-70 Guide Gun there. My other lever is a 7mm-08 Savage 99. Hope more of the Marlin guys show up here!

Looks like Marlin is allowing us some time to retrieve information from the old site - some of this could be "codified" into a CD ROM. Will try and behave better.

Welcome all. As a Co- Moderator here I will try to treat every one fairly. As long as we do not break out into fights or use vulger language all should be ok. Other wise Myself and Big Hext Finnigan could be called on the carpet for not doing our jobs. I do have to say except for only a couple of folks that posted at Marlin Talk and baited maybe some of the rest of us and yea I am guilty of responding :oops: Most all of the guys at MT were a great group of guys who posted great post and did not cause any trouble. I do not expect any problems here and welcome you all as does the rest of the gang. The other boards here are informative as well. I would guess that anything you want to post with in reason will be accepted. I for one will not mind if you post on a non marlin subject as was posted in the Misc area at MT. I have not talked with my co-moderator about this but will. Jim

So glad my friend TennesseeNuc told me about this site. It looks pretty cool and lots of areas covered that I haven't seen on some other places. The guys from Marlin Talk have a wealth of knowledge to share and should be a great addition here.

I am glad to see you guys all show up. I hate to see so many years of accumulated knowledge and sharing go to waste. I have really learned a lot in the few years I have been here, and not just about shooting and hunting, but also about how to think, and to be considerate.
