Since I found this SITE I have not had the desire to visit any others.  It's ALL here.  Now if ALL the other MT members would just find there way here....................OTTO

BTW.........I have moved BACK to the NC coast.  If  any of you all are into DEEP SEA fishing I  am thinking of setting up a fishing trip on the boat I used to work on.  It could be along the lines of a Marlin Talk Charter.  The boat will hold up  50 people to fish COMFORTABLY.  The owner will cut me a GOOD deal. I worked on said boat for 2 years and Know all the ins and outs... Drop me a personal if interested and if there is enuff interest I'll post a NEW TOPIC..........OTTO

PS When I worked on the boat, people would come from as far as NY to fish on it.  Thats how GOOD the fishing was, Grouper, snapper etc

Thanks to VTDW for letting me know where everyone went and to Graybeard for welcoming us.

Well, maybe I won't spend as much time in my work shop as I thought. When the Marlin site went down, I thought I might as well do some sawing and hammering....Well, maybe not!

Good Golly, so this is where nearly everyone is !
I have been going back and forth to and from a half dozen different forums that were all graciously welcoming the homeless MTers but this seems to be where most of you are.
I have been a member here for a while and it is good to "see" you all.

I don't know how many times I told myself I'd never go back to MT because of all the fighting and ugliness.  But, something just kept drawing me back.  Don't know whether I was more surprised to see it go, or more surprised that Marlin kept it going for as long as they did.  I lurked over there for months but decided to register here.  Good to "see" you guys again.

 With MT shutdown and the wife and kid out of the house for 6 weeks I was feeling very alone here in the middle of a North Dakota winter. But after coming across you guys here it feels a whole lot more like home again. :P
It's great to be here and it looks like a great place to chat and learn.
P.S. Just got a couple new Marlin levers in 45 Colt. One in 20" bbl and the other in 24". Gonna try to get the wife into enjoying levers also.
