1977 receiver question

I have a 1977 receiver that was given to me and I'm not sure what model it is.  I'm trying to determine whether it is safe to use with a newly acquired 30-30 barrel.  I've included a picture of it in the event it helps.  I appreciate your time.

The new barrel actually fits?  Is the 30-30 barrel new production?

The 30-30 barrel will need to be fitted slightly but I don't expect it will take much.  It's very close.
