Anyone heard of a Westley Richards double?
« on: February 06, 2004, 12:30:22 AM »
I picked one up a few months back. It's a 12 gauge double with cylinder bores. The man I got it from said it was bought used  by his great grandpa from 1840-1850. Just wandering if anyone had any info on it, such as when they were made estimated value ect. It shoots fine I removed the nipples, couldn't find anything to fit it. I put in some #11 nipples but saved the old ones. Finish is great, no rust no pits in stock. I've shot only buckshot through it so far, picked up some 5 shot and plan to take it out hunting.

It's worthless. And dangerous. Send it to me for proper disposal.
