Three weeks
« on: July 22, 2012, 08:36:23 AM »
Sheep and Caribou three weeks away.  Stacking wood for the fire place.  Got several dead trees standing that need to be cut, split, and stacked as well.  I'm getting too old for this, wanting to move to Florida, or Tennessee.  But the wife will not retire, so I'm stuck here in North Pole.    I'm leaving for vacation at Christmas, going to see the Grandkids.  Then to Virgina to see wife's family.  Then to Tennessee to see my folks.  Then the wife and son are coming back to North Pole, I'm going to Florida for three months.  Be back the end of March, or first of April.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

It was 48 degrees this morning when I got up, 70 by 2:30 PM, clouded up and I think temps are sliding down again.  At least we had a little sun.  I'm after my 14 yr old to cut split and stack this summer since I bought a canoe kit and with all the xtras is getting close to $1,000.00!  He needs to do a lot more too. But I have my moose registration and caribou ticket.  Better drag the boys down to get theirs.
