Sig Model 250?

Anyone own or have experience with the Sig 250? I'm toying with the idea of one in .357 Sig. The price seems way lower than the 226/229 guns. I'm just wondering if the 250 still has the famous Sig quality, accuracy and dependability as they do.

If you like a long smooth double action trigger, it's good. If you are intrigued by the erector set parts kit, you may want to purchase them with the gun as availability can be troublesome. I believe the bugs and beta testing portion of the recent SIG releases are over for the P-250. It is the least SIG of the SIGs, I suppose that could be good for some people
 
If you can, I would look at the SP-2022 in .357. It has the classic SIG DA-SA trigger and three grip size panels. I call them normal (new size) , large (the old standard size), and Shaq (old large). They went to a short trigger across the line a while back so if a 2340 - 2009 is your only experience they have changed the fit somewhat. You ought to be able to find one <$400 less shipping etc. This gun is very robust and took a long time to catch on but has earned a reputation of excellant trigger and durability.

I bought a full size P250, used, in 45ACP. Gun may have been never fired. The grip is wonderful. Most people hate the trigger, it is Double action only. It is a fine close quarters protection piece, but not the best for punching paper at 20 yards. 4-8" at 20 yards- is a great group. My Glocks are much easier to shoot fast and accurate.  The P250 has not become a popular model . I will keep mine, but wish I had bought a Sig 2022 or Glock instead. Oh yeah, Sig only gives one magazine with the pistol- Extras are $40. I would not buy one new, lots of better choices.
